This show was one of my biggest challenges in stage management. This was my first time working with a human fly system, and I had to learn a lot to make sure all actors were safe. I spent 8 hours before rehearsal assisting the installation crew in installing the fly system so I knew all of its inner workings closely. I made sure to take detailed notes on the safety precautions as well as all the fly choreography so that nothing was different between each run. With a cast of 60 and a crew of 40 I was working overtime to make sure everything for this show ran smoothly!
